A physical map was constructed for chromosome 1BS from the high information content fluorescent fingerprints (HICF) of 49,412 clones from the 1BS BAC library (see CNRGV page ). The map assembled with LTC comprised 57 long scaffolds ordered with 2,438 markers and covered approximately 83% of chromosome 1BS.
