Triticeae Annotation Group
In January 2006, the IWGSC established the Triticeae Annotation Group. Version 1 of the Draft annotation guidelines were finalized in June 2006 and approved by the Coordinating Committee of the IWGSC. A subsequent meeting was held in January 2007 at the Plant and Animal Genome conference in San Diego and an update was approved in May 2007. Further revisions will be made as necessary to the guidelines. The annotation group has two co-chairs: Philippe Leroy (leroy@clermont.inra.fr) and Thomas Wicker (wicker@botint.uzh.ch).

Saini, Jerome Salse, Mark Sorrells, Ed Souza, and Wei Zhu.

Workshops
January 2009: The annotation group is hosting a workshop on Tuesday, 13 January 2009, in conjunction with the Plant and Animal Genome XVII Conference in San Diego. The workshop will begin at 1:30 pm in the Sunrise Room at the Town and Country convention center. The workshop is being organized by the working group co-chairs, Philippe Leroy and Thomas Wicker, and Pablo Rabinowicz.
